2. What this is about
We operate an automated assistant (“Wild Lupus Bot”) for our own YouTube channel. It uses the YouTube Data API to:
- read and reply to public messages in our live-stream chat,
- read and reply to public comments on our videos,
- add song requests from the chat (e.g. “!5”) to our live-stream queue,
- manage the title, description and settings of our own live streams.
3. Data we process
- the public display name and public channel ID of the person writing,
- the text of the public message or comment,
- for song requests: time, requested song and display name (for the queue and a statistic of the most popular songs).
4. Purpose and processing
Messages are used only to write a suitable reply. To draft the reply, the message text is sent to an AI language service (Anthropic Claude). The reply is published publicly on YouTube as a reply from our channel.
5. Retention
We store only technical IDs of messages already answered (to avoid duplicate replies) and the list of song requests for statistics. This data is kept on our server in the EU and is never sold or shared. Song requests are deleted after 12 months at the latest.
6. Third parties
The Google/YouTube policies also apply: policies.google.com/privacy and the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data stored by us at any time – just write to kontakt@domsemi.com. You can also revoke access via your Google account settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
